This allows you to remove a higher percentage of pollutants without investing in a separate system. An electronic or pleated filter will remove impurities and contaminants such as pollen, dust, pet hair and dander to help reduce the risk of allergies and respiratory ailments. A charcoal filter is also available for those who want to eliminate odors that originate indoors or outdoors.

The new design of the AVS lets you introduce an optional filter while leaving the standard filter in place. This increases the level of filtration and prolongs the life of the optional filters.

UL Class 2 filters are rated on ASHRAE Test Standard 52-76. Arrestance is 90-92%.

Replacement:

As a second filter media in the unit, replacement can be done every 6 months in normal conditions and use.

Performance:

Average arrestance of 80% rated within UL regulations.

Replacement:

Every 3 months in normal conditions and use.

Electronic Filter #03316

Performance:

The filter electric field affords particle of 0.3 micron and more without producing ozone or ions. The efficiency at 1 micron is 90%.

Replacement:
